Looking at Pictures? ----- Files?

Two things.... one is the picture viewer. I have over 250 pictures and everytime I want to look at them it starts with oldest on top and I have to scroll all the way to the bottom to see newest pics. Kind of annoying. Second is there a way to access files like you can on the Motorola Atrix?
