I have had S models from the S2 and latest s7/s9/s10 now.
I was looking at the s20 plus 5G in grey as 12gb ram but i have also seen the OnePlus 8pro which as reviews goes really seems a good phone also it has the snapdragon chip as Samsung have the Samsung own one and read snapdragon is a lot better.
I know not a lot about the OnePlus 8pro only reviews and never used one so i could do with a bit of advice, read on here a few problems with the screen edges etc.
Thanks.

Do you NEED to upgrade right now? There are rumors that we're only a couple months from the next Galaxy S flagship release (could be S21 or S30, I've seen it reported as both). I know, you could be waiting a lifetime if you're always waiting for the next release. Just trying to make sure you're informed.

1+8P would be a excellent phone, it's lean then samsung with all the features.

Sorry mustang for putting it in the wrong place....
Good point about the new either s21 or 30 coming soon but the thing is there is it will a good £800 or more where the s20+5g you can get new for a good £200 or more cheaper.
I have looked at a lot of reviews and read a lot and the 1+8P seems to be on par with the s20 + or in some case better its just the samsung name against the oneplus and know nothing about the oneplus as a phone like problems etc.

No problem
I own 2 one plus phones, 1+6 and 1+7pro both were excellent. I own few samsung also which are excellent so you can't go wrong either way .
