I use a Otterbox case, They have 2 available . I use the Impact series and like it alot. They both come with screen protectors. Coupon codes are available if you do a search for otterbox.com coupons and they worked for me. heres the address HTC Hero Cases // OtterBox.com

I use the Xentris case. Good stiff silicone, conforms perfectly to the Hero and is all one piece.

I've only seen them in radioshacks.
