Looking for a good, clear case

My GS7 is now about a month old, I have the black onyx S7 and really love that it is a true black unlike my gs6 edge, which was blwck sapphire--more of a navy blue, and super reflective. This black onyx is true tone and the reflectivity is dialed down, and looks great.

That being said, I really need a case for this glass body phone, one that offers good protection from the typical kind if accidents, such as falling out of a pocket, or slip from the hand, and so on. Yet I still want to be able to appreciate the aesthetic appearance of my device. Any suggestions?

A good combo of protection and asthetics. I use the Spigen Thinfit black on my black S7 because I prefer a very thin case. Drop protection not so important for me.

Couldn't get a hold of a spigen case alas, but I think I did find a pretty good alternative. I went to my local verizon retailer yesterday and told them I was looking for a clear case that offers good protection, and for the S7 they had a tech21 evo check in stock. They let me try it out in the store and it fit my phone beautifully. It's clear with crosshatches on the back, which add further strength and protection to the case. The sides have what looks to be firm foam inserts in the inside of the shell, which looks like will provide for great shock absorbtion, and the case itself rises slightly over the screen height to ensure an always secure fit. It says on the box it will sustain any fall onto any surface from up to 6.6 feet guaranteed, and has a lifetime warranty, allowing for free replacement if the case were to defect in normal everyday use. Also, the crosshatches on the back have an added bonus of hiding fingerprints as well. So they made it an easy decision for me. I no longer worry about scuffing my phone against my keys or change in my pocket as well. Verizon being verizon, they charged about $25 dollars more than what it can be found on Amazon and through wal mart, but oh well. Still happy with it.
