Android Central Question

Hello, I'm looking to get a new phone for my mother. Her requirements are pretty simple, good battery and big storage. Since she doesn't need a strong processor, gaming, high end camera, etc. I can narrow it down to just those two things, probably get the upgraded size for the storage.

I've done my research on Xiaomi and looking at Poco X3 or M3 right now but I don't know about other brands. Any suggestions?

Welcome to Android Central! Would the minimum storage be 128 GB? Sub $200 phones typically have 64 GB.

I'd consider TCL, like the 10L or 10 SE. They both originally retailed for a bit higher than $200, but these days you may be able to find them cheaper (especially if they're on carrier plan, rather than bought unlocked).

Also, I have a Galaxy A32 5G which performs admirably, and has great battery life. Still only 64 GB storage, but there is an SD card slot.

I think it may vary upon where you live and the number of options that are available where you live, Mostly look for a phone that offers the best camera in your budget and a screen that's more vibrant, 128Gb+ storage would be good. Having Ram with a minimum of 6Gb would be a better option for long term use.
