Looking for a Rugged Android phone

I didn't know where to post this, because there is no "Which Android should I buy?" forum..

Basically, I need a phone for my little sister, who tends to break her phones within the first year.

Is there anything more rugged on the market? I don't want to buy a used Galaxy S II and have it break within a few months.

We live in Israel. I bought my iPhone 4 in NY and unlocked it. So, no carrier.

Most carriers offer sometype of rugged device. If you don't have one available for your carrier there are plenty of cases which offer good protection, such at the Otterbox series or someting similar. Stay away from the silicone/gel cases which don't offer impact protection.

Keep in mind, even a well protected device can still be damaged if dropped/hit at the right angle. But at least the chances are reduced.

That sounds really cool. So, I could just buy a regular phone and cover it with Otterbox..

But which phone? I'm like..100% lost. All I know is that I love my iPhone 4.
