Really liking this app so far... Love using voice commands... Only thing I haven't figured out is the SMS and caller id to display on the TV

So far so good with this app, but i agree with above, the sms notifications dont work. And thats too bad, thats what makes this app sound so awesome! Keep up the good work! after a few days, ill send you guys my full analysis/bug report. Quick question though, how will we know if theres an update?

When you have Able Remote running and you have an incoming SMS or phone call, a notification will be displayed on your Google TV.

The SMS and caller ID info is only sent to Google TV while Able Remote is the current app running.

The beta testing has been going very well. Able Remote will likely be released next week to the Android Market.

just downloaded the app it doesn't fully work with Swype. I'm typing on it now, i would like option to customize where iwant certain functions because having the d-pad onthe same page asthe pointer would be nice.
All in all nice job so far. Thanks for the app as I play with it more i will giveyoumore feedback.

Can you explain what you mean that it doesn't work with Swype. I'm using SwiftKey X and that is working fine.

I dont know if you have used swype before, when you swype a word it gives you a choice of words to select. If you choose to use the first one highlighted then you swype another word and it will auto space for you.

Also the app Icons on the third page, do not do anything for me.

Not sure why Swype would not work for you. Able Remote isn't doing anything to change the keyboard in any way. It just asks Android to display the keyboard.

To make the buttons on the third page work, you need to install Able Remote on your Google TV device. Search for "Able Remote" on in the Market app on your Google TV device. Then you will be able to directly launch the popular app and you will see SMS and Called ID notifications on your TV while Able Remote is running on your mobile device.
