I prefer the thin as possible case ... simply to protect the corners from pocket scratches or a couple of bumps in the car. Has anyone used a case they love and would recommend?

The new Samsung S View Case Rocks. I believe you switch out the back so it keeps it thin. I acutally got a faux "s view" version from China for $10 but the back doesn't swap with the case... I still love it... you can still see phone info without opening the case.

I will recommend the Spigen Slim Armour. I love mine, and it does not add too much to the phone, but I feel like it will be protected fairly well, the phone now has a lip around the outside so if it is face down, it is not resting on the buttons. I will say keep in mind that Spigen can be a pain if ordering directly from them. At least when these where new, lots had issues getting them when they said they would, especially via Amazon. But, they should have had enough time to get some stock built up, so you should be good.

Here's what I'm using. They're $1.98 each. Hard plastic with a velvety feel. At $1.98 you can have an assortment of colors. I bought 7 of them. They are shipped directly from China so it takes about 8 days to arrive. Well worth the wait. Highly recommended.

+1 .. I have the same case and it fits perfectly and provides more than adequate protection. Very impressed with Spigen products.

Mine did not come with a new one, just the one that is on the phone to protect it during shipping. It is only static cling, and not anything and note really to protect it during normal use. I have the Spigen protectors, but sometimes wish I had gotten the tempered glass. Not a big deal, and they work just fine. Its what you would expect. Nice to have a little thicker than the ones you can buy from say Verizon.

Where do you get tempered glass? Spigen?

Spigen, iLoome, or Mime. Spigen was doing a discount to package a case and the glass together. I have heard good things about all of them. And you should be able to find them all on Amazon.

Now that's a nice looking case. Even get a discount on screen protector when bundled. I heard from a friend that the Note 3 comes with a screen protector in the packaging. Can anyone comment on this? How is the quality?

Note 3 does not come with a screen protector, but check this iloome screenmate flex tempered glass. It's on sale for $16.99 with free shipment

Thanks. Prices look better on Amazon but I don't see bundles unfortunately. Is tempered glass worth the extra cost?

I am looking at replacing my screen protector with it, when I need to. I have many friends that love them. Adds an extra layer of protection, and it also is preserves the quality of the screen, because the glass is clearer than any plastic flexible screen protector will be. Had one friend on a different phone drop it, the tempered class shattered, and when he pulled it off, the glass under it was perfectly fine. It is more expensive, but you shouldn't notice the wear, like you do on a plastic one.

+1 Agreed, it's a very nice case and fits well.
I also purchased the INVELLOP Black Leatherette case, Very nice, pleathery feel, still keeps the think form factor. Not as much as the Spigen, but close.

I have the spigen slim armor and it is a nice case, but certainly not the slimmest case out there being that it is dual layer.

If you want coverage all around the phone, I might suggest diztronic, Cruzerlite, cimo or similar which offer slim tpu cases. There are some thin hardshell cases but personally I have never been fond of them

I also have the Seidio "Dilex" combo case and holster. Just my preference over Otter box because of its slimmer profile and good protection.20131115_062638.jpg20131115_063019.jpg
