Looking for feedback about the leather option vs soft grip

I'm ordering my T2 asap, but the only thing I'm debating is the leather back. I've never had the leather back, and I'm looking for feedback to see if it is worth the extra $24? Does the leather get dirty easily? Is it grippy enough to hold? Will the leather need to be maintained.

If I don't get the leather, I'll likely go with the soft grip, but I'm torn. Would love to hear thoughts from people who actually have the phone.

Thanks

I'm in the same boat too. If anything, I think getting a case would surely help protect the soft or leather backing from wear and tear.

I got the leather back in black. I never had one before and I'm glad I went for it. I doesn't seem to get dirty at all but maybe the lighter colors would show more dirt? It has a good amount of grip to it and has better grip than my Ballistic Nylon T1

This is good. I've been leaning towards the leather. From what I've been reading, the soft backings are dirt magnets and are difficult to keep clean.

My theory is that if you get the soft back you are going to keep wishing you would have got the leather lol.

The soft back is slick, but the main problem with holding the phone is the slick sides.

The leather will look great and if you care for it like leather should last the life of the phone.

Hopefully someone will make a bumper so we can just use that and leave the back exposed.

I say since your debating it at all go for the leather!! If i was ordering i might have. But after holding the phone i knew it was going in a case.
