Looking for grippy case

I am looking for a good grippy case for my note 8. I currently have a caselogy and a spigen rugged armor.

the spigen tough armor is actually good grip.

The OtterBox Defender is likely the grippiest case available, trade off is it's bulkier than other cases

Alcantara case is the only one for me. I went through six or more cases on my way to it. have them all in the donate pile now and using only the Alcantara. it just works.

How is the drop protection on this? I was looking at this or the Spigen Liquid Air.

I've just got the phone and the case (only looked at the case so far) and the case is very thin which is great in terms of not making an already large phone even larger but I have some concerns about drop protection and not sure whether to retune the case for something else?

Agreed. I picked up the gray(black was sold out) Alcantara a couple days ago. It is an awesome case and will definitely be my daily case at work. I have the Samsung Rugged Protective case for when I need it, but this will be my daily case for sure. I don't think I have ever had a case feel this comfortable to hold.

The Alcantara case will protect from scratches, but I don't think it's really designed for drop protection. I think this will be the case I use the most during my work day, but when I am at the gym or out with the kids I will throw on the Rugged Protective case. I am sure some other cases offer even more protection, but I don't want to add any more bulk than I need to.

I want it to be very thin and don't care about drop protection (Never dropped a phone and hope will not. also have square trade warranty, so don't want to compromise on enjoying aesthetics).
