Looking for Group Messaging MMS App Recommendation

Hello all,

I own a Nexus 4 and am running stock Android. I will often run into problems when taking part in group MMS messages in the stock messaging app. Problems especially occur when I am sharing photos.

Some of the main problems:
1.) My messages will not send when I am part of a group message. The status of my sent message will just say "Sending..." indefinitely.

2.) This mostly happens when sending images, but the message I send will appear to be a blank white picture.

My question:
Is there an app that handles MMS messaging better than the stock Android messaging app? Something like Handcent SMS or GO SMS Pro?

All help is greatly appreciated.

I have found that the stock messaging app struggles to sens group messages while connected to wifi. Don't know if that would help you.

I have the exact opposite problem. Only the stock sms app is able to send mms.

Try chomp. You will need to go in the settings and set your preferences for MMS

I use Handcent and have no problem sending group text with or without pics. You may want to explore that app as well.

Darrkman- Lucky you handcent was able to work for you. i tried that and wasnt able to send pictures/MMS which are gorup msg. GO pro was really go and i was able to change MMS seeting within the app allowing me to send group/MMS

You might try resetting your APN settings to default. Something could have gotten messed up which is preventing SMS/MMS from being sent.
