looking to defeat data throttling

I have a unlocked G2X, using it on Cincinnati Bell. Its an awesome phone and cincinnati bell is pretty good, they now have HSPA+ and its right on par with Tmobiles and way cheaper. So I was loving it until I got the text saying due to high data consumption my speed has been throttled till next billing cycle. Now my top download speed on 4g is like 120kbps and I get network error messages all the time. I found a method to defeat the throttling that involves altering the services.jar file using root explorer. I tried it but it hasnt worked for me, Im assuming that cincinnati bell uses a different method than tmobile to throttle people. Does anyone have any info that may be helpful to figure out a way around this bull**** throttling? If I knew exactly how cinbell throttles people maybe I could find a way around it. Any info would be appreciated!
