Looking to try something diffrent....

I have a question that I hope someone can direct me to, I am currently using BAMF 4.9 Sense rom which is a incredible rom but I would like to know is there any other nice Sense 3.0 Roms floating around their because I have noticed a few bugs in this rom and I an not hoping this is standard.

1. I have a very long lag on power down, the device sits on a dark screen with the back light on for a minute or so before powering completely down.

2. The camera volume is too loud it sounds distorted

3. Menu lags real bad from time to time

4. Device reboot automatically when switching from 3g to 4g sometimes.

The rom is still incredible but I want something more stable. Is there any suggestions?

4. Is radio related. Which radio ate you using currently?

As far as other sense Roms go, gingeritis 3d is very good. That's available at themikmik.com

Do you know if there is a fix for the camcorder volume being to load?

^ that's the one. I just flashed it. Very nice so far.

I recommend this radio, as I imagine it came from the same source as the new gingerbread base he is using in Gingeritis 3d.

If you just flashed the leak radio it might take some time to settle in, like in this case it could reboot a few times the first day or two but then subside.

Thanks but the only thing that concerns me is that the developer removed the Hotspot app and I signed up for the unlimited Hotspots plan and I wont be able to use of on that rom..

Decisions, Decisions???? I will try it and see what I will do because it looks like a nice one.

Hmm, you can still just use wireless tether, right? Maybe it's better than stock anyway?

You can maybe just get the .apk for mobile hotspot and load that onto whatever rom you want.

Take a rom that has hotspot, unzip the rom, and inside the rom folder go to system > app > and find the apk file, place that on your sd card, and navigate to it with a file manager from your phone. that might work.

I tried it before and the stock Hotspots apparently seemed faster.

Also can some one let me know how the camcorder volume is on that rom because BAMF 4.9 is to load which makes the sound distorted.

The developer said it wont work no matter what on that rom. He stressed that and say that it wont work so don't ask him to add it, I would say that means he tried and had no luck supporting even the APK...

I'm using GING3RTH3PRY V6.2 and also have been using the new radio that Chingy recently released. I am completely happy with this ROM and found it at XDA.

The new Gingeritis 1.2 is based off the new Gingerbread build and addresses the camcorder audio problem. I was having the same problem on the leaked GB ROMS, but no more on Gingeritis.

I HIGHLY suggest CM7, very stable the data issues are fixed for the most part. 4G works fine. (Using a SAFE version of the MR2 radio)

This is the one that I am using now and this rom did seem to resolve the volume issue but the developer hasn't had luck getting the Mobile Hotspot working that I recently added the unlimited to account.
