looking to upgrade from a GS9 Plus

So in March I will be eligible to upgrade my phone. I have a GS9 Plus and looking at GS 20 FE 5G or GS 21. I am bummed that the newer phones don't have the heart rate sensor which i use and it's more accurate then my watch. And now Samsung did away with the SD card. I'm used to having 64gb internal and 128gb memory card. I'm trying to decide what to get. Cameras are important to me. Any ideas? Anyone else upgrading from a GS 9 or plus? I'm on Verizon.

I had a S9 and upgraded to the S20FE. I wanted to keep my S9 as a spare, so I bought a cheap used S7 and traded it in to TMo, which had the S7 still eligible for the $500 trade in for the S20FE.

Now, since I still have the S9 laying around, I'm going to trade that one in to TMo to get the S21 and just give it to my wife. Looking at her S8 storage, she has 140GB so I upgraded to the 256GB model. I'm just paying $50 over 2 yrs, since the 799 is broken up via 2 yrs of bill credits.

I'm not keeping the S21 because I have over 210GB of apps/files/videos/images between the internal and SD card of my S20FE. I don't use the HR monitor on my phone anymore, but do need the SD card slot.

IF you want the SD slot, get the FE model. I like it and it works fine for me. Plus larger battery and larger screen.

Thanks for the reply. My GS9 Plus will be paid off so i will be keeping it. Have a GS7 and LG G6 paid off in my collection too. Did Samsung do away with the iris scanner? I thought i read they got rid of it and face rec but see the GS21 has Face rec.

do you know why they got rid of it? It seems they're doing away with a lot of things these days. I guess it was just a fad.
