I've had my nexus 5x for a few weeks and I'm having trouble with charging. Where it plugs into the phone is very loose. I only have to touch the lead and it fulls out. I plug it in and when I look at it the leads worked itself loose.

This should not be happening. Are you using the original charging cable, or a cable purchased from the internet somewhere?

If this is happening with the cable purchased from the Google store or the one that came with the phone then you should get the phone replaced.

As far as aftermarket cables go, I suggest the ones from Monoprice.

I agree with Ben. You need to either send it back or have them send you a replacement charger (if it's the OEM charger you were using) to see if perhaps that is the problem. Either way, this is not normally, especially for a new device.

You could send it back, or replace it yourself. I've done so myself - Just bought a few things from ebay.

Is the cable "clicking" into place? Took me a minute to learn that the click indicated secure connection.
