Got my G5 and the bottom on the back seems to be very loose. You can hear it rattle.

Took it to verizon to swap and they refused. Said it was a common complaint, but not a defect because many of the devices do this.

Anyone else have a loose button? Is it really normal?

Yeah, VZW is getting a call from me tonight. I just went to a store and tried their demo units. None of them had this issue.

Also try a different store and push the issue and that you are not happy with it.

Mine had this issue, along with all the other well documented issues. I'd get it replaced.

I guess mine has the issue too. However, I need to tap fairly hard on the phone or shake it aggressively to reproduce it. I've not noticed any rattling around the fingerprint sensor during normal use, so I'm not concerned about it.

Just received my g5 purchased on eBay. Has a very flimsy feeling power button. And it rattles when shaken. Am returning for a refund. So disappointed.

I'm not experiencing this issue whatsoever, bought n AT&T G5 early in the month and so far so good. Perhaps this impacted the first production runs?! Typically these sort of things get corrected quickly by responsible manufacturers.

Just curious if you managed to have your device corrected or swapped?

I don't have this issue. Actually, I have none of the reported issues. Very happy.

The point of saying this is that if the customer is not happy with the phone we should be allowed to exchange it for one with no issues. LG obviously can and has made the phone with no build issues.

I would contact LG directly to see if they'll do something.

LG will tell him to send it in for repair
