Loose usb connector

I just got a used evo. Usb connector is loose. I have to wiggle it around to get it to charge. Is there any fix for this problem? How do you prevent this from happening,in the first place? If theres no fix, how would I charge the battery? Sorry for so many questions. Thanks.

Mine did that a few months after I bought it so I took it back to the Sprint store and they replaced my phone. Of course now all the replacement phones have the unrootable and craptacular gingerbread.

Thanks for the reply. I cant take mine to sprint since it was recently flashed to cricket.

I was told at sprint that it's not fixable. I just had this happen to me a week ago and I ended up with a refurbished one. It happens because of tugging on the cord from side to side and causes the port to become loose.
