I have a 2 week old Samsung Galaxy S8+ w/Sprint. I love the wifi calling (had it 2 phones ago on a Nexus 6P w/Project Fi) but whenever I move to a new wifi router location, I lose wifi calling until I reboot the phone. Is this something I can fix in the settings, is this normal (surely not) or is this a problem with the phone? Currently, my phone is running the stock launcher although I may add Nova later. (I used Nova on my last 2 phones and love it.)

Have you gone in and checked route configuration (and changed password and userid)?

Would turning off wifi and back on, instead of reboot, resolve this?

I've tried turning on/off both wifi and wifi calling. Doesn't make a difference.

What do you mean by "route configuration"?

Sorry 4 typo. "Router" Login and check settings, new firmware (always likely since it is new and with all the recent router exploits).

Might Google your router model + "wifi calling issue"

It's not router specific. My folks have 2 homes. When I leave one wifi area, wifi calling cuts out (as it should). When I enter another area where my phone is already configured for that particular wifi, it won't activate wifi calling even though it automatically connects to that wifi router. Once I reboot the phone, wifi calling automatically connects as it should.
