I've been getting the same except my network turns off. I would have to go turn it back on.

same here. It seems to drop and come back after a while. Like you, pretty much only this past week.

Whew, I got a refurb last week and I thought the radios were miscoded junk. Glad to see it wasn't firmware related.

Today has been a bit of a problem here in the Palo Alto CA area. Seems better now.

I think as more people are getting onto LTE, we are seeing it bog down at times. I have had this happen on and off in Houston, Texas.

The problem is not that it is slow but that it drops.

Pretty stable right now. Yes, the LTE network cycles on and off. It doesn't even drop down to 3G.

I went to Verizon. They said because they are adding more 4G zones in our area, it's knocking our service out. They said all of their phones have been acting up this week because of that. Hopefully they will b finished soon!

I've wondered if that was the possible issue in the past. It does seem that these coverage snafus seem to coincide with the announcement of additional new LTE markets going live.

Yes, I'm in Virginia Beach and they stated the same thing, they are expanding 4g and that signals may be a littly "jumpy" as he put it.

Yes, makes you wonder if it was that or just some guy that works for Verizon getting a kick of turning the 4g switch on and off like a kid playing with the lights.

My signal is "jumping" almost every couple of seconds, it's doesnt even switch to 3G... 4G to nothing and back, without moving my phone. I feel a reimbursement is in order ;)

That's exactly what mine is doing. If you check the network it says its turning on.

A couple of the above posts were from NC. Now VZW has just activated LTE in parts of North Carolina so it being a new network teething issue is probably the cause. What happens if you set your phones to "EVDO Only" ?

I've been losing BOTH 3g and 4g randomly here in the Seattle area for the last few days. Seems completely random.

I had to turn off 4G yesterday afternoon in the Palo Alto CA area. I was trying to use my GPS and with no data connection, it wasn't going to work. 3G was fine.
