Losing BT Audio Meta-Data

While streaming Pandora, Spotify, etc. in either of my (2013) cars, the Meta-Data flows through just fine, unless I turn the car radio off and back on again. When I do that, it plays, but no tags, unless I quit the app and restart. Any thoughts? Running 5.0. TIA.
