Losing data connection while roaming

I'm on TMO and while roaming in Europe I constantly loose data connection. I need to either switch to airplane mode and back or sometimes forced to reboot. This is not an issue on my wife's S6 and we are on the same plan and operators (Moviestar, Orange, Telekom).
This post is both a call for help and a warning for those who will be in my position.

Try to switch sims and see if the problem is still in the v10

Solved by switching network type to GSM only, from GSM/LTE/Auto.
