Losing internet connection while on phone call

On a Galaxy S10, current Android version. Whenever I am on a call and try to use the internet, there is no connection. I will also lose internet on all devices, like my laptop. If I disengage WiFi on the phone, it will return on other devices (it took weeks to figure that out). I happens in all locations. I have Comcast internet, and the tech told me he'd never heard of this (they're not always a lot of help). Anyone else experience this? Is it a setting on my phone? On the modem (altho, as I said, it does it in other locations)?

Is this only only on wi-fi calling? What if you turn off wi-fi calling?

No, not on WiFi calling. JUst a regular call on AT&T. If I'm on a call with someone and I want to check something online, the icon shows the wifi is connected, but there is no internet - it will ocassionally read "connected without internet" or something to that effect. If I go to my laptop (still on the call), I also have no internet connection (and again, the icon shows connected). If I disable the WiFi on my call, I can then access the internet on my laptop, and, if I wait long enough, on the phone. As mentioned, I asked a Comcast tech about it, and he says he's never heard of such a thing. Of course, he did not allow me to show him. It does not do this ALL time and I'm trying to isolate what's going on when it does, but so far, no such luck.
It happens in other locations on different WiFi connections, which makes me think it's a phone or carrier thing, but I know little about all this, and thought it might be a common problem.
BTW, I am subscribed to this thread, but have not gotten the previous replies.

Just to be sure, can you confirm that the Wi-fi Calling option is turned off in the system settings? Also, did you get your phone directly from AT&T, or did you get it unlocked from somewhere else and bring it to AT&T?

Also, see if toggling Auto Network Switch (either on or off, depending on what it's set to right now) does anything: www.samsung.com/in/support/mobile-devices/how-to-enable-auto-network-switch-in-samsung-smartphones/

A couple of other basic troubleshooting steps, in case you haven't done them already:

Can't find a anything that sounds like Auto Network Switch in the settings described in the link above. The only thing remotely close is a switch that sends the phone of Mobile Data if the Wifi signal is low.
The others I have tried.
It may just be something I'll have to live with.
