Loss of battery power-boot

WTH- why do we have constant reboots and why does it lose 10% on battery?

Reboots take a lot of power, especially when the phone's radio is trying to connect to multiple bands. Sometimes the reboots also come after connectivity problems have already been draining the battery as the radio tries to connect to the tower.
