lost connection

My razr maxx is always droping internet connection. I have Verizon and my Co workers with the same carrier r next to me and don't seem to have any trouble. When I power off I get my 4g back with a strong signal. Any one else have this same problem?

ive been told it is a sim card issue. that being said, on some custom ROMS it will drop data, and on others it will not. take it as it is, software issue.
