After several months with the MyTouch3G, today I have no captions under my Icons on the home screens and the 'tab' to show all of the other applications, which had been on the bottom of the screen since I bought the phone, now appears on the right hand side of the screen forcing me to drag it to the left to show all the apps. What did I do? How do I get it back to the previous state? (Please do not say do a reset!!!!!).

Thank you very much for the help.

Robert

Have you recently installed anything new? If not, and you can't pinpoint something that happened prior to your mt3g doing this, then you may need to do a reset.

If anyone else has any suggestions, fire away!

No, I have not recently installed any software.

I have not added any new software for a couple of months. The phone recently changed so that there is no text under the icons and the 'tab' for pulling up the applications has moved to the right of the screen - used to be on the bottom of the screen. No new software for months. Thanks.

Just wondering if there was a solution to this. I have had the same thing (I believe) happen to my DX. Not sure why but one day I picked the phone up and the icons were in different places (some overlapping) and the icon to bring the apps up is on the right. It isn't a huge problem, but I prefer it the way it was.
