Lost my 4G connection

I don't know what happened but I lost my 4G today, I can still connect to 3G though any ideas?

1. Toggle airplane mode on/off.... wait a few minutes... if no luck...
2. Reboot.. if still no luck...

Could just be network outage in your area that will sort itself out. If you usually get good 4G signal where you are right now and (1) or (2) don't solve it, then that's probably it.

Thanks I will give it a try my wife has a Razor that is getting a 4g signal although it is very weak

Word... if the razr's one is really weak its just not uncommon that the nexus will struggle then.. moto's radios are better, no sugar coating that, lol

Call verizon.. they'll usually be quick to look up and tell you that they're aware of any current network issues in the area.

It is weird I just flashed the 4.0.4 radios two days ago and everything was running smoothly then today around 3 I lost 4g connection

Replace your LTE SIM. 3G (in the form of eHRDP) and LTE both use the SIM for authentication. Standard device-authenticated Ev-DO is a fallback, but doesn't work when you have a bad SIM. Just have it replaced at the VZW store, and all will be well.

Not in the slightest. All they have to do is register the card's ID number with your account and you're good to go. You could bring the phone in with iOS for all they care, provided of course you can demonstrate that data issues stem from the SIM card, and not running a different operating system. No reason for them to bother to check the rest, as rooting won't affect the phone's authentication system, which is hardware-based.
