lost my beep sound when pressing ok google mic

I have moto g4 plus phone,when I tap on ok google mic the beep sound worked previously but yesterday after updating google app to 6.3.36.21 version the beep sound stopped working instead it vibrates.I even cleared the app data,search data and cache data but I found no result please help me regarding this issue because I am so used to that beep sound and now its so annoying .

Found your post looking for an answer to this, which I haven't yet found, but my Samsung Galaxy S5 is now doing this too and it drives me nuts. I much prefer a confirmation beep and what good does a vibration do for me if it's on the table and not in my hands? Just more battery waste. Google has a history of taking one step forward and two steps back. Only explanation I can come up with for such a rich and successful company is their employees must be drunk all day at work.

I'm having the same problem on my Google Nexus 6P. I have tried everything, even resetting my phone, but still no beep after saying "OK Google." The only thing I can think of is it must be a VERY, VERY BAD decision on Google's part! Probably something to do with their new Pixel Launcher coming out.

excatly, even some my friends were facing same issue but it works fine in some phones. I still don't understand upto to what extent they test these apps before releasing an update.

My AT&T Galaxy S6 just started doing the same thing. Cleared cache, cleared data, uninstalled and reinstalled...can't get it back. It just vibrates now. So annoying.
