Lost my keyboard on my Motorola Moto G 1st generation phone

I only get the "Tap to speak" option and I can't pull up the keyboard on anything anymore. I uninstalled a few apps yesterday that I thought I never use, so perhaps I accidentally uninstalled the keyboard? How can I get it back if so?

Can you ask Google to open keyboard settings and then see if you can toggle it to keyboard instead of spoken words?

Welcome to the forums. Is your phone rooted? Without root stock apps, like the keyboard, can't be uninstalled so it's possible that it's still active.

You could also try downloading a new keyboard from the Play Store and set it as default while you try to figure out what happened with the stock one.

Yes! I just found the Gboard keyboard App I had apparently disabled in the Play Store. So silly of me.

Thank you!

I can go to play store but since I don't have a keyboard how do I type in the name of the app I want to install a keyboard
