Lost root...kinda?

I've run across a problem with my Rez, my wifi tethering isn't working and says something like,"Are you rooted". And I can open root explorer but can't mount r/w. I've tried battery pulls hoping it was just a hiccup, but its still the same. Should I relock, flash stock recovery and start over from the beginning to get a fresh run at this or does anyone have a fix?

If you're just stock rooted, install Amon-Ra. Reboot into recovery and install superuser(under the developer menu), then install/update Superuser from the market. If that doesn't work you can always try CleanROM which is just debloated and optimized stock GB.

I noticed the same thing with Barnacle Wifi Tether, root access was denied...but other root apps work.
