hi there every one i updated my nexus one to 2.3.6 (GRK39F) from stock 2.3.4 (GRJ22)
my problem is when i upgraded 2.3.6 i was rooted and had clockworkmod recovery image and i had a backup from rom manager as well but before upgrade i wiped the partition and cache and after upgrade i dont have SUPER USER permission nor the clockworkmod recovery tried to flash su.zip from sd card but no luck please can anyone help me get my root back pleaseeeee i need help ....:'(:-\

Ya I'm in the same boat. I'm at work right now, so I can't connect to my PC. Was there any trick to regaining root?

Sorry guys if my reply is very late or useless after a long time
If u have lost ur root access then try to flash a recovery.img using adb i use clockworkmod put your phone in fastboot mode by switching off your phone and then use power+trackball to put in fastboot
Then flash clockwork recovery
And then put the superuser.zip in the root of sd card and flash it from recovery or the easiest way is use the superboot.zip to get back the root
As i was told in some solution
Please let me know if you stil have problems
