Lost the ability to copy & paste

Yesterday, I noticed that I was no longer to copy and paste on my GS3. Today, the problem has seemed to have gotten worse. Now whenever I try to copy text, the app I am copying from freezes and then force closes. The last time I remember copying and pasting without any problems was last Friday (October 5th). I have not installed any apps since then. Any ideas?

I've just had an OTA update from Samsung (2nd JellyBean update) which has resolved the issue.
