Welcome to Android Central! Which phone? Do you mean you can't find the app shortcut icon on your homescreen any more? Tap your App Drawer icon (i.e., the one that looks like a grid of dots on the bottom row of the homescreen) and look for it there. If you see it there, long-press it, then drag and drop it back to the homescreen.
