I just got this phone 2 weeks ago and everything has been working fine. A couple of days ago, people started complaining to me that they heard a loud siren sound and echoing during calls with me. I had made a bunch of calls during the day and there were no issues. Then a few hours later, everyone started complaining. Two days later and this issue still exists. I've tried to figure it out and realize a few things:
-the problem is worse when my S7 is next to a laptop
-speakerphone over the network makes the problem even worse
-there is no problem when I speak over WIFI (e.g. whatsapp) and there's no problem with speakerphone over whatsapp
I tried a factory reset but the problem still exists. I didnt download any new apps or change my phone settings before the problem began.
Are there any settings changes I can make? Otherwise, what is the likehlihood this is a hardware problem given that WIFI calls aren't a problem?
