Armchair quarterbacking here but when threads like this one are allowed to remain in a specific phone forum, it doesn't help the activity of this "off-topic" section much.

Oh I completely agree. I tried in vain to get more exposure for the "Lounge" well before the thread you mentioned and this one "Chatter". Unfortunately, when I was trying I made the mistake of posting in the proper section "Lounge", but the fact that it was down at the bottom of AC and no one knew about it made it very difficult. My suggestion to move it to the top went unanswered for a long time, and thus the 2 mentioned threads took off because they were in very active forums; because they were "New phone" forums at the time.

Agreed, but for the longest time It was really well hidden! It's kinda nice having some "new blood" here.

I hang out from work, which is mostly third shift -ish, and there are all the south eastern quadrant folks around here somewhere too. They can be hard to find, Hobbits are sneaky.
