Maybe there is a thread on this already but having another isn't a bad thing. I (and likely many many others) would love to do a way with the black and white low bit ambient mode and have an option for just a dim version of the active screen. Or even a "dumbed down" version would be fine if the resolution was there. I would gladly give up some battery life to have this. I am at 50-70% at the end of the day anyway. Most watch faces look atrocious in ambient mode and some are even illegible. Some have just random amoeba like blobs where dials should be. I'd literally be embarrassed to have anyone see that my new $500 watch looks like that and I doubt anyone would ever see it and say, "wow, that looks like ****, I'm definitely gonna spend $500 on one". Well, I did, but I mean smart people. lol
I do use pujie black which is much better (still low bit though, grrr) but it sucks to be limited to that. Even the stock included moto faces look like boring garbage in ambient.
Come on Motorola, step up and do the right thing.
IMO it's an option that is pretty much a must for this watch. Especially since some other watches have very nice ambient modes.
