I know this phone can show amazing resolution for a phone but when I browse the web and look at the images tab in google.... the pictures seem low quality. Even youtube shows 480p when I know the video can be shown in 1080p. Even with the tge quality set to HQ the video still seems low.

Can I change this to get the most out of my phone potntial and see photos and videos in higher definition?

Thanks in advance.

I would like to know an easier way to this, but the only way that i can tell you is not to use the Youtube App, and Use a 3rd party browser, I use Dolphin Mini :D, and just set the Agent to Desktop View, and uou can view the 1080p video from the site, Though i have to mention that the video even if its in 1080p wont be sucha great view since the screens sadly is 800x480 i think..So a 720p resolution is great :), and about the image quality, i believe the native browser, compresses the images, to be able to load up faster. AOL had this if you browse from withing their Program. Even Firefox does, but until you download the image then its the correct size and resolution.

Only way i believe to get away from this is using a 3rd party browser, and look into their settings to see if they have a "compression" option to optimize the speed pages load.

The way i see it, dolphin Mini is good with it :)

I really don't see what people have with Firefox for the android, to me is laggy interface is HUGE, and its slow as f*, dolphin mini has been wonderfully fast, and less crowded.

If you're on 3G or 4G the picture won't be as good as if you're on Wi-Fi.

Has nothing to do with image quality. Theoretically 3G will download the image 4G will download it faster and Wi Fi will download it even faster. That's it. The Transfering of data
