LS670 Screen On my VM670... black recovery+boot screens

I am trying to sort this one out. I have a vm670 Virgin Mobile Optimus V using a Optimus S ls670's LCD and Digitizer (basically I just took the front of the S and used it to replace my damaged one on the V) Well I lucked out and the phone boots fully and is usable, but the boot screens and recovery screens are totally black.
