Getting a Verizon unlocked Tab S 10.5 and never thought to ask. Will it work? Do I need to do anything? Thanks.

It will work on Wi-Fi no sweat. If it's truly unlocked, it might work with T-Mobile or AT&T, but that's iffy. I had an Unlocked HTC 8X that worked on HSPA on AT&T.
