Post your case choices here.

I really like the fit and feel of this Torras Stand Case. The sides are exposed, so it's very lightweight and minimal, but there's a lip on the corners and camera bar for SOME protection.

I like clear, minimalistic cases. I'm looking for one with a kickstand as well. How is the hinge strength on this kickstand? Do you think it will be durable and not break with repeated usage?

I'm very careful with my phones, very rarely do I drop them. In other words, I'm okay with the open sides and exposed buttons. I'm willing to make the trade of slightly less protection for an ultra slim, ultralight case.

I'm curious about the magnetic feature. Have you used this case with any magnetic accessories? If so, how is the holding strength?

Any other comments about this case would be greatly appreciated.

@PowrDroid The hinge strength is strong. I'd describe it as tight. Even staying open just a little bit isn't an issue. I stuck it to my fridge while following along with a cooking video.

I use it every night on a very old generic wireless charger with no problem. I have a magnetic accessory I used with another phone/case that attaches here with no issues.

Because the kickstand does move/hinge, even though it's strong, idk how it'd work as a car mount with road bumbs. I only use it as a kickstand on my desk.

Torras has a good name so I believe it's durable. I would have preferred a 360. That's the only thing I'd personally change.

Is this a 360 stand/fingerhole ring attached to the magnet on your Torras case?

I tried a few cheaper Amazon specials but they either were smudge magnets or didn't play nice with my charging dock. Ultimately I went with an official Google case.

How do you like it so far? I really liked the official Google case for the Pixel 8 Pro (Bay color) but I didn't care for the official Pixel 9 Pro XL case (obsidian) as I found it to be exactly what you said....a smudge magnet. Maybe it was the darker color, I'm not sure.

It still picks up smudges, but not as bad as any of the others I've tried so far. It'll do until I find something that provides a little more protection.

I took a deep dive on AliExpress.com yesterday and found some cases that might meet my criteria of a slim, clear, lightweight case. The pricing is phenomenal, however, some stores only let you buy one unit as they have promotional pricing to get new customers.

I have bought several things on AliExpress, most recently a clone of the Logitech Master 3S mouse. The delivery time is usually a week to 10 days. I also bought an Android Blackview Tab 13 a couple of years ago. I've never been disappointed in the quality. I guess what I'm saying is don't be afraid of AliExpress.

One thing I've learned is that there are many sellers on AliExpress that are selling the same product, and pricing can vary wildly. Many of them use the same photos with slight Photoshopping to make them try to appear different from other seller's products. It's a good idea to pick sellers with good reviews and with a lot of sales. Don't like the price? Hit the refresh button and play "price lottery." Most times the pricing will change. (I'm not kidding.)

Anyway, in my search for a slim, clear case with a 360 degree rotating magnetic ring stand, here are my contenders:

(You should select the color and version of your phone.)

Unfortunately none of the descriptions list the weight of the cases, so I had to look for keywords like "slim" or "thin" or "luxury" and read the reviews for clues as to the bulkiness of the cases. I rejected listings that said "military grade" or had photos of big bumpers or bulky cases.

I figure I can take a gamble on a case for less than $5.00 and if I don't like it I can buy one off of Amazon and keep the AliExpress case as a spare.

I got the Pitaka case. It's the thinnest case I've found. Thankfully I generally almost never drop my phones. I wish they offered it colors besides black though.
I had the Pitaka case for the Pixel 9 Pro XL and I liked it a lot. I prefer thin cases and while it doesn't provide much impact protection, I find the case itself helps me avoid dropping the phone in the first place. But, you're right, Pitaka only makes black cases for the Pixel, it seems. I got this Benks case for my 10 Pro XL. It's pretty similar to the Pitaka in that it's a thin aramid fiber case, although it's not as smooth feeling as the Pitaka - it has a bit more texture to it. And it has some color to it but it's very subtle. It almost looks gray until you look at it up close. But I'm liking it.

My wife has a Pixel snap case for her Pixel 9a (Iris color), but wanted to try the mag/spinner/case stand as well. I am not a new customer to AliExpress so I didn't get the rock-bottom pricing for new shoppers. However, I did get a case for my soon to be purchased 10 Pro XL and a case for her Pixel 9a, for $13, which includes shipping.
