Always like to see what my new phone is doing in terms of LTE speeds. But holy smokes this one hit the 300 Mbps (almost 400) barrier, generally used to seeing around 150 - 250 Mbps in my area (Seattle Eastside). This is on T-MOBILE.

What you guys are seeing and how it compares to your old phones?

Below is the iPhone X tested at the same time/same exact spot and not that bad. But see the savage ad placement from Qualcomm in the speed test app

HolySmokes. I'm only getting 5-6 mbps with my Tmobile. Living in a rural area has its disadvantages.

Those are great speeds. I am assuming that you have the new band 71 (or whichever one it is) in your area?
Why are the upload speeds so slow in comparison?

Yeah for sure band 71 is available in my area but not sure if it made difference to the result. Upload speeds are always slow, never seen them high.

I wish I could get speeds that even achieved 38 Mbps on TMO, generally only get fast speeds when I go to the doctor, which isn't close enough to me to make a difference. I generally get 5-10 Mbps, sometimes worse.

How do you do a speed test?
