Unless Sprint switches to LTE and rolls it out everywhere 3G already exists within 6 months (not that it's likely), it's simply not worth a thought...in my opinion of course. Mobile tech changes so fast and so often, I feel it's wise to simply choose the best phone you can afford when you sign up and ride it out until it's renewal time.

Since WiMax is still so sparse, I look at my phone as if it's a really nice 3G phone rather than a 4G device.

I do like your really nice 3g phone theory though. I guess that's how I should feel as 4g is only available on nyc and not here and it sucks there any ways.

No 4g in buildings. Sucks in manhattan. And in queens its alright if your outside. Its ****ing cold out now though.

The only thing stopping me from switching from the epic to evo right now is waiting for new phones really. I don't want to get it then htc has there new phone come out and it has better battery. Then I'm stuck waiting 22 months.

I wouldn't go from an Epic to an Evo today either. I wouldn't change phones at all just yet.
