My question to you tnt, is this the same procedure for all Android devices? I have an OG Droid, Dinc, DX, Vibrant, and NC that I would love to place a different boot logo on. That is after I make a backup of the existing logo and animations. I am not very efficient with graphics, but I can follow your steps in the coding part lol Thanks for you reply!
I don't believe its the same. I had the og droid and could not figure it out. Someone may have posted how to do this on other phones. I too want this on other things like this xoom.

Nope limited to just 182 pixels high. So it will only be about size of a quarter.

Limited to the phone. I wish it could be half screen but the size is 182 tall 480 wide. Your image was done at 180x180 to keep it square and to keep the background black. And your welcome
