m8 vs m8 karmon edition?

I personally chose the HK edition. It's a matter of preference. I like the black finish on the HK edition, and the sound is good. The HK ear buds are awesome also!.

I have it and love it. Great sound. Decent ear buds. Nice colors..... The HK part is kinda cool too.

Okay I never see people with it, I'll check it out today. The thing going I worry about is the low resale value on sprint.

I honestly would focus on the appearance when making that decision because the hardware is basically the same. H/K is just a software modification which you can install on a regular HTC One (available on XDA-Developers). As mentioned above, the main differences are the appearance and the earphones that come with the device.

I have the HK for 6 days now. I like the black aluminum case and the headphones are outstanding. I am actually enjoying the 3 months of free Spotify premium. Not a bad deal. Last week on Amazon the HK was $49. This week it is $129 on Amazon with an existing plan. The regular M8 on Sprint is still $49 this week. I don't root, since I like the 2 years of OS upgrades from HTC. In the end, do what you want.

I was going to get the gun metal grey one but I have the HK cuz that's the only one they had and I don't regret getting it now. The champagne gold on the front grew on me and the jet black back looks pretty cool. The ear buds are really nice, and Spotify is awesome too. It's all a matter of preference and what you like

So jealous. I got my gunmetal grey M8 shortly after launch. It's awesome, but I really like the black and champagne color of the HK. Of course my 14 days was up before it was released.
