mac mounting problems

Okay, bought one of these today to replace my trusty Xperia Arc S and so far sort of so good. When plugged into the MB Pro at home the internal storage won't mount on the desktop. Tried all the usual suspects.....USB debugging etc. There doesn't appear to be an option to change USB connection......have had to resort to using the Missing Sync for Android in order to get music and photos across but there are files/back up files that I need to get on the device to restore data for some apps and I can't think of a way to get them on...any ideas?

Yikes, just found the solution...there's an app called Bridge for Mac by Sony, seems to work okay...phew

For Mac I had to use Snow Leopard as Bridge didn't work on Mountain Lion.
