I haven't posted much here, but I've been browsing a while and seen this question come up on many different forums; so I decided to make a write up for a how to for users on Mac OS X that don't have access to a PC. I've posted it to my blog for everyone. I look forward to helping users out as much as I can. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask or share this link to others who are looking.

hey guys im wondering if someone can help me im trying to follow the guide but when i get to the part where i have to use terminal to unlock the bootloader when i try and type in ./fastboot devices it suppose to show serial number of my phone but nothing happens. Heres what it looks like in terminal

Mikes-Computer:~ mike$ cd ~/desktop/Nexus
Mikes-Computer:Nexus mike$ ./fastboot devices
Mikes-Computer:Nexus mike$

so im wondering what im doing wrong?

Android Transfer installed an works ?
GNex in recovery?
USB pluged in Mac USB not in Hub !

yes android transfer is installed, yes its in recovery and no it was plugged into a usb hub but i will try plugging it into my mac

EDIT: i just tried doing it with it plugged into my Mac and it does the same thing

was the GNEX in fastboot unlocked too ?

ok i did that and now it says < waiting for device > and nothing is happening and my phone looks the same?

did this on my friends phone and worked like charm... thanks....
Now I have a yakjuux on 4.1.1 and I need to get it to yakju so I can get 4.2. Can I follow the same step or is the any modifications ....
