Magnetic phone holder

I have a magnetic phone holder in my car that I just love! There is a magnet that you attach to the back of the phone that sticks the one in the car. It did say on the directions not to use it with wireless charging phones. I just bought the Galaxy S6. Will it damage the phone if I attach a magnet to the back of the case of this phone?

I've got a similar magnetic car holder, I've attached the metal plate to the back of my Ringke Slim case rather than the phone. Sometimes I'll forget to take the case off before putting the phone on the wireless charger and the metal plate starts hearing up and in turn the phone starts getting hot too!

I have a plate between my case and phone and use wireless charging every night. You just have to fund the sweet spot where the play won't interfere with the charger.
