Has anyone noticed any issues with the compass on the Galaxy Nexus? I used to use the google sky map app all the time on my Nexus One and it never seemed to work right on the Galaxy Nexus. I decided to investigate and if I run the Compass app (catch.com's) even after trying to calibrate it the thing just doesn't seem to work right.
What happens in the compass is as follows. It starts out at about N or NW (340ish degrees) and as I spin it turns a little but it seems to be based on the accelerometer (I spin faster it moves more) but eventually always settles back to about N or NW. Even when I'm pointing South it thinks its North.
Is there a problem with my device or do others see this as well?
