Magnets in the actual phone?

I realize the moto mods have magnets in them but was curious if the phone itself had magnets or just metal for the moto mods to attach. The reason i ask is I always get an adhesive wallet for my phones to keep my credit card attached to the phone. I know this would be dangerous with moto mods but was curious how safe it would be with just the phone and no mod. Can anyone with the phone confirm this or had luck keeping their credit card attached to the phone in a wallet. Any help is appreciated.

Anything with radios will have magnetic fields around them, I wouldn't keep any magnetic cards near phones personally... But ppl do with no issues so it's your call...

I've done it with every phone I've had with no issues. My main concern is strong magnets in the moto z due to moto mods.

As far as powerful magnets to enable the mods - they're all in the mods. If you hold the phone without a mod up to a metal surface, it doesn't try to stick at all.

The Z Force has enough metal for it to hold on magnetic car mounts without using the provided metal plates. Just a plus.

I don't know mine has stuck to the washing machine but maybe that's from the Incipio back.

Yup, the Incipio style mod has really powerful magnets.
