Magnifier Widget Not Full Screen - can anyone else reproduce this?

I just came across this "bug" as described here:
https://us.community.samsung.com/t5...Magnifier-Widget-Not-Full-Screen/td-p/2509366
"the magnifier widget is only full screen in HD+ and FHD+ screen resolutions. It will not work full screen in WQHD+ resolution."

Is there anyone else that can reproduce this? And in fact, it's really only fullscreen in HD+ resolution.

Testing it on my S21 Ultra, it works fine by default in fullscreen with all screen resolutions.

Unfortunately not fixed with the April update. Although would appreciate if others could confirm this "issue" on their device.

Do you mean the Magnifier in Accessibility? or something else?

Seems to work fine on my S23 Ultra

No, the Magnifier widget app which uses the camera to act as a literal magnifying glass sorta thing. This video illustrates how to do it on the S22 Ultra (it's the same for the S23 Ultra):

Interestingly, you can see that the S22 Ultra doesn't suffer from this lack of fullscreen issue either (I can confirm neither does the S21 Ultra).

Ok, I tried it and it indeed does not render in full screen. I would think it was because of the cameras aspect ratio but if it works properly on the s21 Ultra and s22 Ultra that wouldn't really make sense...

Yes thanks for confirming. I also thought might be the aspect ratio, but it's quite odd that the S21 and S22 has no issues here.

What display resolution is your phone set at? At FHD+, the magnifier is close to fullscreen but not quite. At WQHD+, it's very obviously not fullscreen.

Only at HD+ is the magnifier completely fullscreen.
Yep, you're right FHD+....it is exactly as you wrote
