Mail icon accidently deleted _ help please !

I'm new to mobile phones and have somehow managed to delete the mail icon on my Moto G. It was on the home screen at the bottom but now it's gone and I'm not sure how to reinstall it so that I can send and receive emails again, any help would be really appreciated _ thanks.

Just hit the middle (the button with the dots) now u scroll towards the email or gmail icon. Then tap on it, hold it and then just move it by sliding it on the homescreen. Hope it works

Thanks, I've sorted it now - it wasn't in the list of apps but what I didn't realize is I could swipe to the right on the apps screen and it appeared under the 'disabled' heading - I just had to re-enable it.
